The Opportunity

We're seeking a visionary Data Architect to design and implement cutting-edge Data Discovery, Classification, Catalog and Governance solutions for our clients, transforming how they leverage data for innovation and growth. You will be instrumental in shaping the technical backbone of healthcare data platforms, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements while maximizing the value of our clients' data assets.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable data architectures that meet our clients' unique business needs and strategic objectives.
• Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies (e.g., Alation, Imperva, Privacera, BigID, One Trust, Purview) that align with industry best practices and deliver optimal performance.
• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and develop innovative data solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement comprehensive data models and schemas that effectively capture and organize complex healthcare data.
• Data Integration & Migration: Develop and execute strategies for seamless data integration and migration, ensuring data consistency and accessibility across systems.
• Data Governance: Champion data quality and governance, defining policies and procedures that uphold industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• Technical Mentorship: Provide expert guidance and support to data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Data-Centric Focus

• Data Classification: Expertise in identifying, categorizing, and managing sensitive data based on industry regulations and best practices.
• Data Discovery: Proficiency in locating and understanding data assets within an organization, utilizing tools and techniques for efficient data discovery and cataloging.
• Data Governance: Strong understanding of data governance principles and the ability to implement effective policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, demonstrating a proven track record of successful data architecture design and implementation.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of data architecture principles, best practices, and industry standards, especially within the healthcare domain. Proficiency in a variety of data management tools and technologies (e.g., AWS, Alation, Zscaler).
• Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, and foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving & Delivery: Excellent problem-solving skills, a results-oriented mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.
